We Have Options:
Improv Asylum is the perfect alternative to your typical private event. Each and every private show we perform is completely customizable and unique to YOUR group. The show we perform for you will have never been seen by anyone else… and it will never be seen again!
Our show consists of short scenes that are improvised on the spot based on a variety of information. Throughout the show, our cast will ask questions and improvise scenes based on the answers we receive. We also use a packet of information you provide us before the show to incorporate specific, inside details about your group into our scenes. It’s always a fun surprise when Matt from Marketing (who just loves ballroom dancing) is mentioned in a scene without him even saying a word!
Private shows can be held any time or anywhere you want! Come to our 200-seat theater in the North End or let us do the traveling and we’ll come to you! We have entertained all sorts of associations, non-profit organizations, schools and companies across the country, so there’s no limit to what we can do!
Think your group might want some food and drinks? Let’s make that happen, too!
If you’re interested in a custom show as a part of your corporate event, you could even Start your event off with our interactive Corporate Training program where our trainers will use the foundation of improv to have you participate in exercises that focus on enhancing the skills and practices you want to see your team excel in.
A special offer to groups of 40 or less, the After Work Party is the perfect team outing to get everyone in the same room, have a handful of laughs and a drink or two, and still be home in time to relieve the babysitter. We like to think HR would consider it an essential team-building experience.

"We were looking for something unique… a different twist on corporate training. It was the highlight of our sales kick off! Very different from your more traditional corporate training workshops… It was a rousing success."
Vice President of Sales at Virgin Pulse
"Our leadership session was perfect! Our facilitator really did an excellent job guiding us through the exercises and facilitating our afternoon discussion! It really was just what we were looking for!"

"With IA Innovation and Robert Melley and his team we have found a partner for leadership communication which provide us with ideas and programs that even exceed our expectations. In 2012 they supported us at the Zeiss Strategy Summit which was held at Harvard Business School – with more than 100 top executives from all Zeiss entities participating in a full-day program on leadership and communication. In 2013 we were happy that they joined our Vision Care Business Group Leadership Summit in Frankfort, also with more than 100 executives in attendance, and provided the leadership team with a customized, entertaining and very instructing program that addressed the main challenges of our business.
The days with IA Innovation have made lasting impressions and the general feedback from the vast majority of participants is that they learned something sustainable for their work and their own professional development. We are deeply convinced that the way IA Innovation has defined to take leadership communication to the next level is unique in its approach and in its sustainable outcome for participants and company. . ."
"We recently participated in MassChallenge’s 2014 Boot Camp and provided our innovative and interactive Keynote training program for up to 180 start up companies. Helping early stage entrepreneurs win with MassChallenge, Improv Asylum kicked off day 1 of the Boot Camp by teaching valuable skill sets to help them get ahead of the pack and to stay there!
Check out what MassChallenge and the boot campers had to say about us and our program! Some great video too!"

"We loved working with the energetic, creative, and agile Improv Asylum team at our annual Store Leader Conference in Las Vegas. They delivered “Yes, And” training to help every store team build rapport and to authentically create guest value. Over 5,000 leaders learned how to use focused listening for building rapport and sales, and they learned how to create a culture that exceeds guest expectations with social confidence, agility and creativity."
